Lifetime has unveiled the fall slate of its popular “Ripped from the Headlines” banner, including the films — The Girl Who Wasn’t Dead; Nobody Dumps My Daughter; and Husband, Father, Killer: The Alyssa Paldl Story.
In a press release on Monday, Sept. 9, the network announced Heather Locklear, Ana Ortiz, Lyndsy Fonseca, Jackie Cruz, and Karrueche Tran will headline the fall set of films.
The six movies are set to premiere on Saturday nights in October and November, and come in addition to previously announced “Ripped from the Headlines” September films, including Buried Alive and Survived starring Eva Marcille.

The Girl Who Wasn’t Dead
Starring Emma Tremblay as 15-year-old Erica and Lyndsy Fonseca as her mother Carrie, Erica one day vanishes without a trace. Police think Erica is the victim of a local serial killer but her mother refuses to believe her daughter is dead. Erica then turns up at her own murder trial three years later, where everyone finds out Erica wasn’t abducted, but had run away and chosen to live in seclusion with her 21-year-old boyfriend, Andrew (Kyle Clark), less than a mile from her mother’s house.
The Girl Who Wasn’t Dead premieres Oct. 5 at 8/7c.
Nobody Dumps My Daughter
Ana Ortiz stars as overbearing mom Mary, who starts stalking her daughter’s ex-boyfriend after he breaks up with her. Mary becomes obsessed with reuniting the couple after she finds out Jimmy the ex took her daughter’s virginity. She becomes desperate enough and hires a fortune teller and a hitman to get her revenge on Jimmy.
Nobody Dumps My Daughter premieres Oct. 12 at 8/7c.
Husband, Father, Killer: The Alyssa Pladl Story
In this chilling film, Alyssa (Jackie Cruz) and Steven (Matthew MacCaull) have an intense relationship and move in together when Alyssa is still a teenager. After she gives birth to a little girl, Steven becomes physically abusive towards the infant. Alyssa then gives up the infant Katie for adoption, and in a twist of events – Katie comes back into their lives 18 years later and has an affair with Steven. When Alyssa confronts Katie about Steven’s evil ways, Katie refuses to listen until it’s too late.
Husband, Father, Killer: The Alyssa Pladl Story premieres Oct. 19 at 8/7c.
Mormon Mom Gone Wrong: The Ruby Franke Story
Heather Locklear stars in Mormon Mom Gone Wrong: The Ruby Franke Story, which dissects how social media influencer and Mormon mom of six Ruby (played by Emilie Ullerup) begins to abuse her children after she goes to marriage counseling and her counselor Jodi Hildebrandt (Heather Locklear) turns her household toxic.

A Kidnapping in Amish Country
In A Kidnapping in Amish Country, an Amish woman with a checkered past realizes her daughter has been abducted. She is forced to turn to the only person who can help: her estranged best friend, Skye (Elise Bauman), who’s renounced the Amish way of life and found fame on social media.

Searching for a Serial Killer: The Regina Smith Story
Karrueche Tran stars as single mother and rookie Dallas police officer Regina Smith, who defied all expectations and caught the notorious “Eyeball Killer,” a serial killer who surgically removed the eyes of his victims. Despite only being months into the job and a woman in a profession dominated by men, Regina risks everything to get involved in the case and discovers crucial evidence missed by FBI and city homicide detectives.
