Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson to Bring Olympic Highlights and Laughs in New Peacock Series

Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson will team up this summer for the Paris Olympics.

The pair will co-host “Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson,” a new series set to stream during the games on Peacock.

In a press release on Tuesday, April 30, Peacock said the duo will “recap the 2024 Olympics’ best and most unexpected moments throughout the Games.”

The 8-episode show will feature a mix of in-studio competitions, conversations, and interviews.

“We can’t wait to be a part of the Paris Olympics and help hype up the audience with highlights from the best moments of the Games. We’re going for gold, everybody!” Hart said in a statement.

Thompson added, “Kev and I are super excited to be part of the Paris Olympics by recapping performances from some of the world’s best athletes. Let’s go Team U.S.A.!”

The series marks the third collaboration between Hart and Thompson, following their popular New Year’s recap specials on Peacock in 2022 and 2023.

Both stars are executive producers on the new show in addition to Jeff Clanagan, Bryan Smiley, David Nickoll, Luke Kelly-Clyne, and Kevin Healey. JC Del Barco serves as co-executive producer. Leslie Small directs.

This year, Peacock will be the streaming home of the 2024 Paris Olympics Games in the U.S. For the first time, the platform will stream every sport, covering all 329 medal events, ensuring that fans have access to live and on-demand Olympic content.

Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson” is set to kick off on July 26, the same day as the Opening Ceremony. The show will feature 8 episodes released in batches of 2-3 per week until the end of the Olympics on Aug. 11.

The Olympic Games Paris 2024 are scheduled for July 26-Aug. 11.
