Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson are teaming up to say goodbye to 2023.
The two comics will recap some of the biggest moments of the year in sports and pop culture for a Peacock titled 2023 Back That Year Up with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson.
As Hart says in the teaser trailer, the special will offer “a wild look back at all the crazy, funny, and weird things that happened in 2023.”
The hour-long show features celebrity guests, including Simone Biles, Kelly Clarkson, plus fellow comedians David Alan Grier and Jay Pharoah.

In the teaser, Thompson reads a list of guest names and says, “This is all your people, where are my friends?”
“Bet you ask yourself that a lot,” Hart shoots back.
This is the second time the two have joined forces for a year end special, after recapping the events of 2022 for Peacock.
“We are so excited to bring audiences another Back That Year Up special as we celebrate all the ups, downs, and memorable moments of this past year. Hold onto your party hats, because this is going to be one for the books,” Hart said in a statement.
The Ride Along star previously recapped 2021 with Snoop Dogg for the streaming service.
Some fans were hoping Snoop would return as seen in the comments on Hart’s Instagram post about the 2023 special.
But the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper won’t be dropping by this year (at least to our knowledge).
For fans who do want to check out the comedy special, 2023 Back That Year Up with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson starts streaming Tuesday, Dec. 26 on Peacock.
Both stars are executive producers on the show in addition to Jeff Clanagan, Bryan Smiley, David Nickoll, Luke Kelly-Clyne, and Kevin Healey. Paul Harrison serves as co-executive producer.
