Iyanla Vanzant Says ‘Fix My Life’ Will End After Upcoming Season

Iyanla Vanzant has announced her popular self-help series Iyanla: Fix My Life is ending.

“This is my last season. This is my legacy season, I’m out. We out. 2020,” Vanzant said during a virtual news conference about the OWN series, which The Grio was first to report on Thursday.

The spiritual life coach made the announcement while speaking to reporters about the show’s upcoming seventh season, which premieres this weekend.

A source with ties to the production confirmed to Urban Hollywood 411 on Thursday that the show is ending. But the individual added, “There will still be another season of new episodes airing in 2021, which are currently filming.”

For the past six seasons, Vanzant has helped people on the show address personal and family issues.

Season 7 will premiere with an explosive two-hour special featuring Love & Hip Hop: Miami star Shay Johnson trying to improve her relationship with her family. Comedian and actress Luenell will also appear on the new season.

The series is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions with Gil Goldschein, Julie Pizzi and Erica Ross serving as executive producers alongside Iyanla Vanzant.

Season 7 of Iyanla: Fix My Life premieres on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 9-11 p.m. ET/PT.
