Issa Rae Gets Emotional in Trailer for HBO’s ‘Insecure: The End’ Documentary (Video)

Insecure fans will get to relive their favorite moments one last time when HBO releases Insecure: The End, a documentary which takes fans behind the scenes of the show’s final season. 

In the trailer, creator and star Issa Rae along with her production partners and fellow cast members open up about what it was like to work on the critically-acclaimed series for the last five years. 

“You inspire a dream that I’d never imagine I’d get to work with so many amazing, talented people. You guys have elevated me,” Rae says in a heartfelt speech shown in the trailer. Her voice breaks several times as she wipes away tears and her cast mates cheer her on.

Co-stars Jay Ellis, Yvonne Orji, Natasha Rothwell, Amanda Seales, Wade Allain-Marcus, Kendrick Sampson and Christina Elmore also give interviews about the cultural impact of working on Insecure.

Series showrunner Prentice Penny is also featured in the documentary.

Insecure: The End debuts Sunday, Dec. 26 on HBO Max before premiering on HBO the next day, Monday, Dec. 27, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
