BET Plus Comedy ‘Bigger’ Canceled After Two Seasons: ‘We Can’t Believe It Either’

BET+ has decided to scrap Bigger after two seasons. 

Creator, executive producer and showrunner Felischa Marye confirmed the news Monday on Twitter in a three-tweet thread.

Morning Twitter! We’re sad to announce that #BiggerOnBet will not get a third season. We know, we know. We can’t believe it either, but want to say to thanks to our #BiggerSeries Hive for being such loyal and passionate fans,” Marye tweeted.

She continued, “We wanted to give audiences a hardcore funny comedy with a big heart, and our fans were there for it, so we thank you!”

Bigger starred Tanisha Long, Angell Conwell, Rasheda Crockett, Chase Anthony and Tristen Winger as a group of friends navigating relationships and careers while asking the question if there was bigger and better out there.

The series was produced by Will Packer and his production company Will Packer Media. Devon Shepard, the season one showrunner, served as writer/consulting producer on season two.

The second season of Bigger premiered in April and had a roster of guest stars including Jasmine Guy, Tori Spelling, Christopher “Play” Martin, Eva Marcille, Devale Ellis, Toccara, Karlie Redd, Debbi Morgan, Curtis Washington, Charmin Lee, and Alexa Rachelle Jennings.
