GloRilla picked up a leading six NAACP Image Award nominations in the music/recording categories on Tuesday.
The Memphis rapper was followed by Doechii, Kendrick Lamar and Usher with four nods each.
In motion picture categories, The Piano Lesson led the competition with 14 nominations.
Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist received the most nominations in the television categories, with nine nods.
Cynthia Erivo, Keke Palmer, Kendrick Lamar, Kevin Hart, and Shannon Sharpe were all nominated in the coveted Entertainer of the Year category.
Keke Palmer earned a total of four nominations, including for hosting her podcast “Baby, This is Keke Palmer.”
Ayo Edebiri also received four nominations – three for her role in The Bear and one for hosting Saturday Night Live.
The nominations were announced live on CBS Mornings by singer and actress Chloe Bailey and NAACP President Derrick Johnson, and on YouTube by actress Novi Brown and star of Grownish Trevor Jackson.

Winners will be revealed during the 56th NAACP Image Awards telecast on Saturday, February 22 live from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, on BET and CBS.
