FX has picked up the new comedy series Snowflakes, about twentysomething, co-dependent housemates – Samir (Malik Elassal), Billie (Lucy Freyer), Paul Baker (Jack Innanen), Issa (Amita Rao), and Anton (Owen Thiele).
The housemates are trying to be good people, despite being neither “good” nor “people” yet, FX said in a recent press release.
The half-hour series is created by The Tonight Show writers Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw. Kronengold and Shaw wrote the pilot episode and are also executive producers.

“We’re so grateful to be telling this story about a group of friends navigating the hardest, horniest time of life together,” Kronengold and Shaw said in a statement. “FX comedies have defined our generation, and we can’t wait to show them the consequences.”
The other executive producers are FX TV veterans — The League’s Nick Kroll, Baskets’ Jonathan Krisel, and Atlanta’s Stefani Robinson. In addition to serving as an executive producer, Krisel directed the pilot.
“We are excited about the exceptional cast and powerhouse comedy team we’ve assembled for Snowflakes,” said FX Entertainment President Nick Grad. “Not only does it give us a chance to introduce our audience to Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw’s brilliant comedic voice, but we also get the opportunity to work again with Nick, Jonathan, and Stefani, all incredibly talented veterans of signature FX comedies.”
The first season of Snowflakes is set to premiere in 2025.
