Federal prosecutors sent a letter to the judge in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking case on Monday, saying the music mogul has a “history of violence” and should not be granted bail.

Urban Hollywood 411 obtained a copy of the Nov. 25 letter to Judge Arun Subramanian.

In the 13-page filing, prosecutors alleged Diddy poses a “threat to the community” and his “conduct in this case must also be viewed in the context of his overall dangerousness.”

The letter alleged Diddy’s inner circle “enabled him and assisted him” in a campaign of “kidnappings, assaults, arson, and sexual violence.”

The document went on to say Diddy and his associates “brandished firearms, including when the defendant kidnapped a former employee at gunpoint.”

The letter additionally claimed the mogul “engaged in acts of violence against women, including throwing them to the ground, dragging them by their hair, kicking, shoving, punching, and slapping them.”

Prosecutors also accused the mogul of witness tampering after he was jailed, including by using a video his children posted to social media for his 55th birthday. The prosecution argues the video was posted in an attempt to influence witnesses and potential jurors.

Diddy’s legal team also sent a letter to the judge on Monday, saying prosecutors are trying to suppress the mogul’s right to free speech ahead of his trial.

In their eight-page filing, defense attorneys argued that Diddy’s statements, including on social media, should be protected like those of Donald Trump in his election interference case.

“The Court should apply Trump’s heightened standard when considering Mr. Combs’ speech here,” the defense wrote, referring to an appeals court ruling that defendants have broad free speech rights under the First Amendment.

The defense told the court Diddy has the same constitutional right as Trump to fight back against “false and outrageous claims.”

The Bad Boy Records founder was arrested on Sept. 16, and is being held without bail as he awaits trial on racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution charges.

He denies wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty to all counts.

The mogul’s two previous bail requests were rejected by separate judges. A ruling on his third request could come as early as today.
