Sean “Diddy” Combs’ seven children didn’t forget his birthday while the mogul is jailed at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Diddy turned 55 on Monday, Nov. 4, and his kids shared a video on Instagram showing Justin, Christian, twins D’Lila and Jessie, Love, and Diddy’s adopted son Quincy with a cake, singing “Happy Birthday” over the phone, while the mogul remains in federal custody.
Diddy’s daughter Chance wasn’t there in person but was on speakerphone.
In the recording, the rap mogul sounded upbeat while speaking to his children.
“I love y’all so much. I can’t wait to see y’all. I just want to say I’m proud of y’all, especially the girls, I mean all of y’all, just for being strong. Thank y’all for being strong and for speaking out in support of me. I love y’all. I got the best family in the world. My birthday, I’m happy,” the Bad Boys Record founder can be heard saying over the other line.

Like Diddy, his kids sounded happy in the call. The seven siblings told their father they “loved him too” and promised to see him “in a couple of days.”
Combs was arrested on Sept. 16 and charged with three counts — racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Since the rap mogul’s arrest, his children have stood by him. Last month, the siblings released a joint statement on Instagram, and said they’d had enough of the “conspiracy theories and false narratives” about the record producer.
A federal judge set a May 5, 2025 trial date for Combs.
