In a turn of events, one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ accusers, Thalia Graves, is being accused of bribery.

Graves’ ex-boyfriend has claimed that she offered him $3 million if he agreed to back her version of allegations against Combs and his head of security, TMZ reported on Oct. 8.

The news outlet said it was shown a November 2023 text message exchange between Graves and her ex-boyfriend.

According to the text messages, Graves reportedly said she planned to sue Combs “because he’s the one that has the money.” After asking her ex if he had seen a video of her allegedly being sexually assaulted, the text reportedly mentioned $3 million.

Graves filed a complaint in the Southern District of New York on Sept. 24, accusing Combs of a brutal assault.

In the 26-page lawsuit, Graves alleged that when she was 25 years old in 2001, Combs and his head of security Joseph Sherman drugged, bound, and raped her at the Bad Boy Records studio in New York City.

The incident was reportedly filmed with a handheld camera, and according to the suit, the video was shown to her then-boyfriend, who worked for Combs, and distributed to others.

TMZ spoke to Graves’ ex and he reportedly confirmed the text exhange was valid and told the outlet that he “interpreted it as an attempted bribe.”

He also said after he received the text, he blocked Graves’ phone number and blocked her on social media.

Diddy’s legal team reportedly has copies of the text exchange.

Gloria Allred, who is Graves’ attorney, released a statement to TMZ about the claim.

“It is very common that rich powerful men and their supporters attempt to discredit, shame, and humiliate accusers who have the courage to come forward,” said Allred. “The complaint speaks for itself. Our client is looking forward to her day in court.”

Diddy was arrested on Sept. 16 at a hotel in New York City and the next day was charged with three federal counts — racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The rap mogul has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Combs is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, and has been denied bail twice.
