Christina Milian faces a terrifying ordeal in the new Lifetime Movie He Couldn’t Let Go.
The singer and Dexter: Original Sin actress leads the cast and co-produces the thriller about a woman named “Mariana” whose ability to read body language helps her escape a horrifying situation.
After an intense work encounter, the situation spirals and Mariana is forced to fight for her life. Steven Strait, Annie Gonzalez and Gregg Wayans also star in the film.

The thriller is produced by Fox Entertainment Studios in association with Neon Kite and distributed by Fox Entertainment Global.
Chad Hayes, Carey Hayes, Larry Grimaldi, Hannah Pillemer and Fernando Szew executive produce, alongside Ani Kevork and Carmen Milian who are co-executive producers.
Cory Miller directs from a script he co-wrote with Rob Belushi. Christina Milian, Jay Glazer, Lisa Wright, Mandy Turpin, and Belushi produce.
He Couldn’t Let Go is currently available to watch via Lifetime Movie Club and will premiere on the Lifetime network Saturday, July 11 at 8p/7c. The film is part of the cable channel’s summer movie slate featuring five new thrillers.
Crowning at the Prom debuts July 18. Danielle Panabaker (The Flash) and Anwen O’Driscoll star in the film, which is inspired by real events about a single mother (Panabaker), who discovers her teenage daughter has been hiding a life-changing secret.
Girl in the Coffin premieres July 25. Tahirah Sharif (The Haunting of Bly Manor) stars as Jasmine, a woman who must fight for survival after waking up trapped inside a coffin.
Killer Clown debuts Aug. 1. Inspired by real stories, the thriller stars Sara Paxton (Weapons) as a woman haunted by her mother’s murder at the hands of a local killer.
She Stole My Son’s Heart premieres on Aug. 8. The film stars Marisol Nichols (Riverdale) as a homicide detective who works alongside her rookie counterpart to find a kidnapped woman who desperately needs a heart transplant.
