Friends and fans are sending prayers to Basketball Wives star Brooke Bailey following the death of her 25-year-old daughter, Kayla Bailey.
Brooke paid tribute to Kayla Sunday on Instagram. She shared a photo gallery of Kayla throughout the years and captioned the post: “Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey. This is not a goodbye. Mommy will see you soon.”
The mom, entrepreneur and reality star also changed her Instagram bio in remembrance of her daughter, writing: “Kayla Nicole Bailey 3/2/97-9/25/22 #PrettyBlack.”

Brooke did not disclose her daughter’s cause of death, however, some online reports said Kayla died from injuries sustained in a car accident over the weekend.
Thousands of people replied to the post, sending prayers and condolences in the comments section.
Actress Niecy Nash wrote, “Brooke. I’m so sorry.”
Basketball Wives star Brandi Maxiell added: “RIP Kayla. We luv you baby girl!!! I love you so much Brooke!!! You are so strong and continue to trust in God to carry you through this storm sis!!! We are all here for you and your family.”
Former Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada also replied by saying she was praying for Brooke’s family: “Brooke, I can’t imagine the pain you’re going through during this difficult time. I’m so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your fam #LoveYall.”
Brooke joined the cast of Basketball Wives LA in 2012. She returned to the VH1 series for the most recent season 10, which premiered May 16, 2022.
