RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14 breakout star Kornbread “The Snack” Jeté has revealed she is battling intestinal cancer.

Kornbread shared details about the diagnosis with her followers in a tweet on Sunday (Sept. 25).

“Recently I was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma. A type of cancer in the Smaller intestine. I’m 100% fine and everything is in the early stages so I’ll be back to my normal self in no time. Absolutely curable!” Kornbread wrote.

She urged those reading the post to be mindful of their health.

“I say this to let everyone know that no matter how young you are PLEASE GET REGULAR check ups. I’m glad I caught mine at this stage,” she continued. “A lot of health things will be changing for me and I’m grateful for all the support. Ready to get back to the stage again!”

Kornbread (Demoria Elise Williams) became a fan favorite queen earlier this year while competing on Drag Race, however, she was forced to leave the competition early because of an ankle injury.

In March, it was announced that Kornbread had landed a role in the Disney film Hocus Pocus 2 alongside queen Kahmora Hall. Entertainment Weekly reported the two would portray drag versions of Sarah and Mary Sanderson, played by Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy. The Hocus Pocus sequel also stars Bette Midler. The film is scheduled for release Sept. 30 on Disney+.
