Nineteen cast members have been revealed for the upcoming season of Netflix’s Black Mirror sci-fi anthology series.
The official Black Mirror X account released a cryptic video on Sept. 19, unveiling the lead cast for the seventh season.
Those who are first-time cast members include Barbie and Insecure star Issa Rae and Black-ish and Girlfriends star Tracee Ellis Ross.
Peter Capaldi, Awkwafina, Paul Giamatti, Rashida Jones, Emma Corrin, Patsy Ferran, Lewis Gribben, Siena Kelly, Rosy McEwen, Chris O’Dowd, Paul G. Raymond, and Harriet Walter are also newbies to the Charlie Booker created series.

Returning cast members include Cristin Milioti, Billy Magnussen, Jimmi Simpson, Milanka Brooks, and Osy Ikhile.
What is known so far about the upcoming season is that it will include six episodes and one of those episodes will be a sequel to the Emmy-winning USS Callister — the first episode from season 4.
The Star Trek-inspired episode starred Jesse Plemons as Robert Daly, a CTO of a tech-entertainment company by day and night, the commander of a starship based on his favorite TV show as a child.
Black Mirror made its debut in December 2011. The last season, which was season 6, debuted in June 2023.
Over the years, the series has won six Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series, Movie or a Dramatic Special; and Outstanding Television Movie.
The series is produced by Broke & Bones. Executive producers include Charlie Brooker, Jessica Rhoades, Annabel Jones
The seventh season is slated to premiere sometime in 2025.
