The fourth and final season of FX’s Atlanta is set to premiere in September, with the crew going back to their hometown.
FX released a cryptic teaser trailer on Friday that gives a glimpse of life in the ATL after season 3 wrapped up in Europe. The surreal video doesn’t give away much, except that things are getting crazy.
In the trailer, “Earn” (Donald Glover), “Alfred ‘Paper Boi’ Miles” (Brian Tyree Henry), “Darius” (LaKeith Stanfield) and “Van” (Zazie Beetz) are outside the liquor store introduced in the first season. But the question is, has Atlanta changed or have they?

Glover created and executive produces the series. Additional executive producers include Paul Simms, Hiro Murai, Dianne McGunigle, and Stephen Glover. The show is produced by FX Productions and shot on location in the city of Atlanta.
Atlanta just picked up three Emmy nominations — outstanding cinematography, outstanding directing and outstanding lead actor in a comedy series.
Since it debuted in 2016, the show has won five Emmy Awards — in the categories of outstanding lead actor in a comedy series for Glover; outstanding guest actor for Katt Williams; outstanding directing, outstanding cinematography, and outstanding sound editing.
The final season of Atlanta will air on FX in September.
