Anthony Scaramucci’s time on Celebrity Big Brother has come to an abrupt end.

The former White House communications director — aka “the Mooch” — left the reality competition show’s house on Tuesday night, just six days into filming Season 2.

Scaramucci’s exit from the series became apparent when the home’s 24/7 live feed cameras launched, with fans quickly noticing that he was nowhere to be seen.

Some cast members were later heard discussing Scaramucci’s mysterious departure, including Tamar Braxton. “Mooch you tried,” the 41-year-old singer said sympathetically. “I just want you to know that.”

Lindsay Lohan’s mother, Dina Lohan, expressed disappointment that Scaramucci wouldn’t be around to teach her about financial issues. “He would be teaching us things right now about finance,” she said after actor Jonathan Bennett admitted that he’ll “miss” the financier-entrepreneur.

Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte probably isn’t disappointed about the political consultant’s exit, however, as he nominated him for eviction before the unexpected split.

Scaramucci has yet to confirm why he left the show, but he hinted at a “cliff hanger” ending during a surprise appearance at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Wednesday.

“I just left the Big Brother house … you have to tune in Friday to understand what happened,” he said during an interview. “Unfortunately I signed a confidentiality [agreement], but there’s a little bit of a cliffhanger.”

Although Scaramucci’s stint on Celebrity Big Brother was brief, he didn’t waste any time elaborating on his relationship with President Donald Trump.

Scaramucci revealed during the premiere that he “still gets along with the president,” and will sometimes talk to him “once or twice a month.”

The show — which also stars Kandi Burruss, Lolo Jones, Joey Lawrence, Natalie Eva Marie, Tom Green, Ricky Williams, and Kato Kaelin— will air its first live eviction on CBS this Friday at 8 PM ET.
