The show follows a group of friends living in Atlanta. According to a description, it will center on a single-black-woman who is dealing with the threat of marriage to a boring-in-bed boyfriend and the sudden, random death of a college acquaintance. The tragedy drives her ambitious group of friends to take a deeper
look at their stagnant lives, asking themselves – is there something bigger and better in life.
Bigger is created by Felischa Marye. Devon Shepard serves as showrunner. The series will premiere on subscription-based BET+, when the Viacom-owned streaming service launches this fall.
Tyler Perry and Tracy Oliver are also developing content for the service. Additional details on BET+ can be found here.
