After decades of interviewing celebrities and guests in her raw and unfiltered style, the cameras are now turning on Wendy Williams for the Lifetime documentary Wendy Williams: What a Mess!

The video shows the evolution of Williams’ career from a radio personality to hosting her own TV talk show, as well as her high-profile divorce from husband Kevin Hunter.
“I have a career for over three decades talking about people and now I’m being talked about,” Williams says in the trailer as she lounges on her sofa in a sequined robe.
“‘Oh Wendy’s not well. Life has caught up to her.’ Get the f— out of here,” she tells her detractors.

The video then zeroes in on the extra-marital affair Hunter had while he was serving as an executive producer on his wife’s talk show.
“She could forgive an affair—but an affair with a baby? That’s it,” a voice in the trailer says while a paparazzi photo of Hunter’s mistress is shown.
“This is a culmination of everything—everything,” Williams says as she cries in the final seconds of the trailer.
In a press release, Lifetime describes the doc as “a raw, no holds barred look with never-before heard truths about Wendy’s notorious feuds with celebrities, her shocking divorce, her childhood and the private darkness she has endured.”
Wendy Williams: What a Mess! premieres Saturday, Jan. 30 at 10/9C p.m. on Lifetime. Right before the documentary airs, Wendy Williams: The Movie debuts at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
