Cleo TV Announces Return Date for ‘Tough Love: Los Angeles’

Cleo TV’s Tough Love: Los Angeles is set to return after the holidays on Jan. 3.

The series centers on the complicated lives and dating situations of Black millennials in Los Angeles. Mya (Lauren Wilkins), her boyfriend Rashad (Jamy Pierrevil), Raymond (Javon Terrell), Story (Kamri Cole), and engaged couple Denise (Symphony Canady) and Brian (Lance A. Williams).

Mya’s quest for justice after the death of her brother in an officer-involved shooting is one of the show’s central storylines.

In this weekend’s episode, Mya becomes angry with Rashad, and accuses him of cheating when she catches him talking to another woman on the phone while she’s in the shower. Raymond and Story unknowingly talk to each other on a dating app, and Denise and Brian’s relationship rises to a boiling point.

Tough Love: Los Angeles is a spinoff of the popular web series Tough Love, which was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2017 for Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series.

The Cleo TV series is created by Caleb and Roni Davis, and produced by Creative Direction Group.

Tough Love: Los Angeles returns to Cleo TV on Sunday, Jan. 3 at 9 p.m. ET/8C.
