The chart-topping singer appeared at CinemaCon and wowed attendees on Tuesday, April 1.
The musician performed a surprise mini-concert at the gathering inside Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and belted out two songs, including his hit single “Blinding Lights.”

Those attending Tuesday’s event were treated to a new trailer for Hurry Up Tomorrow. What they didn’t know was that The Weeknd would be there to perform a mini-concert.
The singer plays a musician battling insomnia in the film, but he is “pulled into an odyssey with a stranger (Jenna Ortega) that begins to unravel the very core of his existence,” according to the official description.
Barry Keoghan (Saltburn) also stars in the psychological thriller.
Trey Edward Shults (It Comes At Night, Waves) wrote and directed the project, with The Weeknd serving as co-writer alongside Shults and Reza Fahim.
The movie will be released in theaters on May 16, and features new music from The Weeknd, who scored the film with Daniel Lopatin.
The thriller is inspired by The Weeknd’s sixth studio album, also titled Hurry Up Tomorrow, which was released through XO and Republic Records on Jan. 31.
