The women of The View are giving audiences an inside look into the show through a behind-the-scenes podcast launching next week.
“Behind The Table” will debut Tuesday, with weekly episodes featuring current and former View co-hosts, including Meredith Vieira, Sherri Shepherd, Lisa Ling, and Raven-Symoné as they discuss interviews with celebrities, newsmakers and politicians, and also talk about trending news topics.

The podcast kicks off in celebration of The View’s 25 years on air.
The daytime talk show debuted in 1997, when legendary broadcaster Barbara Walters came up with an idea for a show where strong women from different ages could discuss and debate important topics of national interest.
“These seats have been filled by such amazing, powerful, strong, intelligent women,” one of the co-hosts says in the audio trailer for the series.
Current View moderator Whoopi Goldberg tells listeners in the clip some of the stories from “Behind the Table” are ones she hasn’t even heard, such as how Shepherd felt when she made her infamous “world is flat” comment her first day on air.
“That day was the worst day of my entire life and the best day that changed my life,” Shepherd says.
The podcast will be debuting on Tuesday, Sept. 14 on major listening platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, Google Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Stitcher, TuneIn, Audacy and the ABC News app.
