Lizzo pulled double duty this weekend on Saturday Night Live as host and musical guest — and she brought boss moves by rapping, twerking, and playing the flute.
The “Truth Hurts” singer kicked off the night in a plunging blue dress with a matching fringed jacket. “My name is Lizzo and, yes, I’m shocked I have clothes on too,” she quipped during her monologue.
She then mentioned some of the rumors about her personal life.
“I read a lot of gossip online that I’m dating every little white boy in Hollywood,” she said. “They think I’m collecting members of One Direction like ‘Infinity Stones.’ I even heard a rumor that I’m pregnant with Chris Evans’ baby.”

Later, she proved why she’s 100 percent that b—h by playing the flute and twerking in a sketch about the DeVry Institute Orchestra. After the orchestra’s flutist dropped out, Lizzo auditioned for the position. But every time she started playing, she started twerking. The conductor asked her to sit down, but she told him that wouldn’t work.
“The truth is, the only way I can play the flute is if I’m twerking. See, two years ago, I couldn’t play any instrument. And then one day last summer, the ice cream truck pulled up, and I heard that jingle. And that beat had my body moving in ways that made me feel powerful, like I could do anything, even play the flute. And the rest is history,” she said.
The rest of the orchestra took her cue and everyone started twerking.

Kenan Thompson (will.i.am), Chris Redd (apl.de.ap), Bowen Yang (Taboo), and Cecily Strong (Fergie) took on the roles of the chart-topping group, with Bryant and Lizzo playing their producers.
BEP was stumped on lyrics for “Boom Boom Pow” besides the words “boom boom boom” and “gotta get that.” Lizzo then dropped Fergie’s rap verse and gave the song life.
As musical guest, Lizzo performed her new singles “Special” and “About Damn Time.
