Sanaa Lathan has signed on for a role in the upcoming Netflix series Hit & Run.
The action thriller follows grief-stricken husband Segev Azulai (Lior Raz) in Tel Aviv, whose dancer wife is killed in a hit and run accident. He heads to the U.S. to look for his wife’s killers after they flee Israel.
After leaving Israel, he reunites in New York with an ex-lover, who is also an investigative reporter (Lathan). But he soon finds out he might not have known his wife as well as he thought.
“It’s time we start investigating your wife,” Lathan says in the trailer, which Netflix released Monday.
Later in the trailer, Segev is advised to head home but he remains determined to continue piecing the clues together.
