Danielle Brooks is an Oscar-nominated actress, yet she’s seemingly a reality TV expert and has some thoughts on one of the biggest scandals in RHOA history.
Brooks joined Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey on the Sunday, April 6 episode of Watch What Happens Live.
The actress is a RHOA superfan, so she was right at home when the discussion turned to the meltdown that got longtime cast member Kenya Moore ousted from the Bravo series.
WWHL host Andy Cohen asked Bailey her thoughts on that night’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, which saw Moore display explicit posters of franchise newcomer Brittany Eady at the opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta back in June 2024.
Moore was “suspended indefinitely” from the Bravo series shortly after the incident, although it just aired over the weekend.

Cohen pressed Bailey to get an idea what it was like in the room, when Moore showed her guests a picture she turned into a poster showing Eady allegedly performing oral sex.
“I just didn’t see it coming,” Bailey said. “It just took the focus from her hair care spa, which is amazing, to this kind of dark moment.”
Cohen then turned to Brooks to see what she was thinking.
“This,” she responded, before taking a sip of a cocktail.
“Andy, I live in Atlanta now. I’m not trying to get caught up with these ladies!” Brooks continued, adding that she doesn’t like seeing women “tear each other down.”
“Danielle don’t want no smoke,” Bailey chimed in.
Brooks also discussed her Oscar-nominated role in The Color Purple remake, working with the film’s producer Oprah Winfrey, and getting advice from the media mogul about her career.
By the way, Brooks currently has a role in A Minecraft Movie, which topped the box office over the weekend and shattered records after opening with a staggering $162.7 million domestically and $313 million globally, according to boxofficemojo.com.
The video game adaptation also stars Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Emma Myers, Sebastian Eugene Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge. The film scored the best opening of 2025 and the biggest debut ever for a video game adaptation.
