Red Table Talk was named Outstanding Informative Talk Show Friday night at the 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
The Facebook Watch series hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris faced
The 3rd Hour of Today; GMA3: What You Need to Know; Red Table Talk: The Estefans; and Tamron Hall in the category.
Over the past year, Red Table Talk has tackled a number of weighty topics, including R&B singer Bobby Brown addressing the death of his 28-year-old son Bobby Brown Jr. Additionally, social justice activist Tamika Mallory discussed the treatment of Black women in society, and Will Smith tried to end his decades-long “war of words” with former The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-star Janet Hubert.

Other winners at the Daytime Emmys included The Kelly Clarkson Show, which picked up the award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show. The statuette for Outstanding Daytime Non-Fiction Special went to Creators for Change on Girls’ Education with Michelle Obama from YouTube Originals. General Hospital was named Outstanding Drama Series. Sheryl Underwood hosted the awards, which were broadcast on CBS and Paramount+.
