The AJC first reported that the actress made the confession to fans during an Instagram Live Q&A session, and said the money she earned from her Cosby days gave her a nest egg she’s never had to use.
Jerome Trammel, a social media influencer, joined Symoné on her live and asked her to elaborate. He later published a clip of the video on Twitter.
Raven-Symoné joined The Cosby Show in 1989 at 3 years old. Today, she STILL generates money in residuals/royalties from the show.

“So, is it true that you haven’t touched your Cosby money?” Trammel asked. “Or you mean, like, residuals as of lately?”
“I haven’t touched my Cosby money,” Raven-Symoné responded.
Twitter users responded to the tweet that Trammel posted, which at the time of this writing has received over 30,000 likes, and fans were impressed with Symoné’s financial savvy.
“Shout out to Raven-Symoné’s parents. We don’t talk enough about how the biggest cause of child actors going broke are parents spending their money,” one user tweeted.
