Cherish the Day, Ava DuVernay’s new romantic anthology series, will premiere over two nights starting Feb. 11, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced Thursday.
The first season of the steamy drama stars Xosha Roquemore (The Mindy Project) and Alano Miller (Underground) as a couple who meet and fall in love in Los Angeles, with the full season spanning five years of their lives.
The newly released trailer shows the two going on dates and exchanging romantic glances. But they come from two very different worlds, and their families warn them to be careful as Sade’s single “Cherish the Day” plays in the background.
