Niecy Nash is the latest Hollywood star to add daytime talk show host to her resume.

The Reno 911! and Claws actress has signed on to host her own daytime show, according to a Wednesday story by The Hollywood Reporter.

CBS Television Distribution is preparing to shoot a pilot episode with James Corden’s Fulwell73 production company.

If the pilot is picked up to series, CBS Television Distribution would produce the show. CTD has a successful track record in the daytime space, with its roster including Judge Judy, Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray, The Doctors and The Drew Barrymore Show.

Still, Nash would face tough competition against newcomers Kelly Clarkson and Tamron Hall, as well as veteran hosts Ellen DeGeneres and Wendy Williams.

Niecy Nash previously hosted Style Network’s Clean House from 2003 to 2010, and took home a Daytime Emmy for hosting the series in 2010. She previously signed on to shoot a pilot for a late-night show with TNT back in 2018.

Her acting credits include Mrs. America, Scream Queens, When They See Us, The Soul Man and Getting On.

The actress made headlines in August when she secretly married soul singer Jessica Betts, after her divorce from second husband Jay Tucker was finalized.

Nash shared a wedding photo on Instagram along with the hashtag #LoveWins.
