Now that the Hollywood strikes are over, NBC is set to bring back its popular Law & Order franchise and its hit Chicago-based shows.
In a press release on Monday, the network said fan-favorites Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. — which was last season’s #1 drama in the 18-49 demo — will all return on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Dick’s Wolf’s Law & Order: Organized Crime and Law & Order: SVU — now in its 25th season — return the following night, on Thursday, Jan. 18.
Ice-T recently told his Instagram followers SVU‘s new season would begin filming on Nov. 27.

Before ringing in 2024, the network will unveil the new comedy, Extended Family, starring Jon Cryer, Donald Faison, Abigail Spencer, Sofia Capanna and Finn Sweeney, on Saturday, Dec. 23.
After Extended Family, court returns to session with a special holiday episode of Night Court, starring Melissa Rauch and Emmy winner John Larroquette.
NBC is the latest network to unveil its programming lineup after the WGA and SAG-AFTRA reached labor contracts with the Hollywood studios, and TV shows and movies quickly returned to production.
