Night five of the non-televised portion of the NAACP Image Awards was held Friday, with the Octavia Spencer-led miniseries Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker; Black-ish; and Power Book II: Ghost picking up three prizes each.
In the special categories, the Jackie Robinson Sports Award was presented to NBA superstar Steph Curry by Stacey Abrams. Additionally, the Key Of Life Award went to lead developer of the Moderna vaccine, Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett.

The night also featured New Orleans rapper Dee-1, who took the stage with a performance that explored the power and responsibility of Black art through music.
The non-televised portion of the awards streamed live from March 22-26 at naacpimageawards.net, leading up to the televised show on Saturday, March 27 at 8 p.m./7c on BET. Saturday’s awards will be simulcast across ViacomCBS Networks including CBS, BET Her, VH1, MTV, MTV2, and LOGO.
