Megan Thee Stallion is bringing the Hot Girl heat to P-Valley.

The “Hot Girl Summer” rapper has been cast in a recurring role on season 2 of the series, Starz announced Monday. The cable network also released a first look photo of the rapper in character.

Megan will begin appearing in episodes later this season as “Tina Snow” — which pays homage to her alter ego by the same name and the title of her second EP.

She’ll contribute an original song to the drama, which will be featured in an upcoming episode, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The news of Megan’s casting comes after the hip-hop star lent her voice to this past week’s episode.

Here’s the official description for season 2: “When darkness descends upon Chucalissa, errybody and they mama must fight tooth and talon to survive. While some take flight to perilous new heights, others dig in their stilettos and stand their ground no matter the cost. Back at The Pynk, Autumn and Uncle Clifford grapple for the throne as new blood shakes up the locker room. Meanwhile, with the casino’s fate hanging in the balance, the local political machine kicks into overdrive. In these unprecedented times, death and danger lurk around every corner.”

The first season debuted in 2020 and introduced audiences to Mississippi strip club owner Uncle Clifford (Nicco Annan) and dancers Mercedes (Brandee Evans), Hailey (Elarica Johnson), and Miss Mississippi (Shannon Thornton).

Season 2 premiered on June 3, bringing in 4.5 million viewers in the U.S. on cable and the Starz app, the network recently announced. The premiere also drove record subscription growth, “making it one of the best-performing series of all time” for Starz.

Created by Katori Hall, the series is based on her play “Pussy Valley.” Hall serves as showrunner and executive producer. Dante Di Loreto is also an executive producer and Lionsgate Television produces the series for Starz.

The returning cast includes Nicco Annan as Uncle Clifford; Elarica Johnson as Autumn Night; Brandee Evans as Mercedes; Shannon Thornton as Miss Mississippi; J. Alphonse Nicholson as Lil’ Murda, Parker Sawyers as Andre; Harriett D. Foy as Pastor Woodbine; Dan J. Johnson as Corbin; Morocco Omari as Big L; Dominic DeVore as Duffy; Tyler Lepley as Diamond; Jordan M. Cox as Derrick; and Skyler Joy as Gidget.

New to the cast this season are John Clarence Stewart as Big Teak; newcomer Miracle Watts as Big Bone; Shamika Cotton as Farrah; Gail Bean as Roulette; and Psalms Salazar as Whisper.
