‘Married At First Sight’ Heads to Houston – These Are the Season 13 Couples

Married at First Sight is heading to Houston for an all-new season in July.

The popular Lifetime reality series announced the season 13 cast in a recent press release. The new season includes a Black couple, an Afro-Latino newlywed groom, and the series’ first Asian-American couple.

Each week, viewers will get to watch A two-hour episode showing each couple’s journey from the altar throughout the first few weeks of their marriage. As the season comes to a close, each couple will have to choose if they want to stay married or seek a divorce.

These are the couples who decided to take the plunge and get Married at First Sight:

Michaela and Zach [shown above]
Michaela (30) is a successful realtor who wants to make a house a home with her groom Zack (27), who grew up in Baton Rouge but moved to Houston in hopes of finding a wife.

Myrla and Gil
Myrla (34) is a leadership coach who says “I do” to Gil (35), who was born and raised in Colombia, and is in search of the American dream of a wife, kids, and pet along with the white picket fence.

Brett and Ryan
Originally from New Jersey, Brett (33) is ready for marriage in her adopted hometown of Houston. Her husband is Ryan (35) wants to be a father after seeing a loving example set by his large extended family.

Bao and Johnny
Bao (35) is a daughter of immigrant Vietnamese parents and is ready for the next chapter in her life with Johnny (35), who only wants to marry once and has been holding out for the perfect match.

Rachel and Jose
Rachel (33) previously felt insecure when it came to dating but is now ready to open her heart to love with Jose (35), who is ready to be married and possibly have kids one day.

Married At First Sight is produced by Kinetic Content (a Red Arrow Studios company). Executive producers include Chris Coelen, Eric Detwiler, Ally Simpson, Montre Burton and Toni Gallagher from Kinetic Content and Amy Winter and Cat Rodriguez from Lifetime.

A matchmaking special will debut July 7th at 8 p.m. ET/PT, followed by a Kickoff Special on July 14th at 8 p.m. ET/PT where Kevin Frazier hosts a panel of insider experts, for an exclusive first look at the epic upcoming season.

The new season of Married at First Sight premieres with a three-hour episode, July 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
