Ludacris is joining the cast of Queen Latifah’s upcoming Netflix thriller End of the Road.
The streaming giant made the announcement Wednesday in a press release, saying Bloodline actor Beau Bridges has also signed on for a role in the film.
Here’s how Netflix describes the movie: “After losing her job, recently widowed Brenda drives her family cross-country to start a new life. In the New Mexico desert, cut off from help, they must learn to fight back when they become the targets of a mysterious killer.”

Queen Latifah will both star in the film and serve as an executive producer. Shakim Compere for Flavor Unit Entertainment and Ben Pugh and Erica Steinberg for 42 are also executive producers. Tracey Edmonds for Edmonds Entertainment (Soul Food, Jumping the Broom); Mark Burg for Twisted Pictures (Saw, John Q), Brad Kaplan (The Intruder) are producers, while Millicent Shelton (Insecure, Black-ish) will be directing the thriller based on a script from David Loughery (The Intruder).
An official release date for End of the Road has not yet been announced. This is the second time Ludacris and Bridges will work together side-by-side. The two previously starred together in the 2008 action movie Max Payne.
Rapper-turned-actor Ludacris will next be seen in Universal’s F9, set to premiere on June 25.
