LeBron James continues to expand his entertainment empire.
The NBA star and his production partner, Maverick Carter, have inked a deal with HBO to air their barbershop-set talk show, The Shop, the network announced Thursday.
The digital talk show debuted on James’ Uninterrupted website in 2016. The first new episode will premiere next month on HBO.
The episode features Snoop Dogg, and was shot last week at the Barber Surgeons Guild in West Hollywood, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It shows James and Carter sitting down with the rapper, who gets real about staying relevant in the youth-obsessed music industry.
“I never was cool with being in second place,” Snoop Dogg says. “Sometimes I feel like I have to reinvent myself because I done fell back to second place… it’s like, you’re not that young rapper anymore.”
Jon Stewart, Odell Beckham Jr., Alvin Kamara, Draymond Green and Candace Parker also appear in the episode.
James says the idea for the show came from his childhood visits to the barbershop.
“When I was a kid, being in barbershops meant listening to adults talk about sports, clothing, politics, music, everything happened in the shop,” he said in a statement. “It was so real and so candid — no one had a sense of, well I can’t be myself here. That’s how The Shop became an idea.”

Earlier this month, the basketball legend signed a four-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
HBO plans to work around his schedule when the 2018-2019 NBA season gets underway.
“We’ll do it as frequently as the conversation warrants,” says HBO Sports executive VP Peter Nelson. “It’s LeBron’s baby, so he very much wants to do it. And he wants to do it as much as possible.”
The Shop will debut on HBO Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 11 p.m. ET/PT. It will also be available on HBO Now and HBO Go.
