Kim Kardashian is far from her reality TV roots in the new teaser trailer for FX’s American Horror Story: Delicate.
In the teaser for the anthology series, the reality star and business mogul is almost unrecognizable in a platinum blonde wig, bleached eyebrows, and spider-like eyelashes. She cradles a baby as an eerie rendition of “Rock-a-Bye, Baby” plays in the background.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum is joined by actress Emma Roberts and model Cara Delevingne in the 30-second teaser, which also features faceless dancers moving in unison around an empty cradle and a carriage.
FX and Hulu announced Kardashian’s casting in season 12 of the anthology series in April, along with the title of the upcoming season.

“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” showrunner Ryan Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter at the time.
Murphy continued, “Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. ” He added that the role was specifically written for Kardashian.
The season is based, in part, on Danielle Valentine’s forthcoming book, Delicate Condition.
The plot centers an actress named Anna Alcott, who becomes convinced someone is trying to stop her from conceiving a child. Struggling with failed IVF treatments, she begins to believe she is pregnant, only to be told otherwise by her doctor. The story follows her growing conviction that a baby is still moving inside her, despite others’ doubts.
Joining Kardashian, Roberts, and Delevingne in the cast are Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, the Golden Globe winner from Pose, along with Zachary Quinto who is a seasoned regular in the American Horror Story franchise.
While no official release date has been announced, fans can expect the new season to debut later this year.
