Kim Kardashian is adding to her acting resume with a role on season 12 of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story.

Kardashian made the announcement on Instagram Monday, by posting a teaser video revealing the title credits for the new season of the FX anthology series.

The video revealed the reality star and entrepreneur will have a major role on the series alongside lead actress Emma Roberts.

The season is titled “Delicate” and will be based on the upcoming novel Delicate Condition from Danielle Valentine.

The book will be released in August, and “follows a woman convinced a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens – while the men in her life refuse to believe a word she says,” according to the official description.

AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy describes Kardashian’s role in the TV adaptation as “fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying.”

“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” Murphy said in a statement Monday to The Hollywood Reporter. “Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture.”

The new season of AHS is scheduled to begin shooting later this month in New York City.

Kardashian previously had small roles on the television shows 30 Rock, Drop Dead Diva, 2 Broke Girls, How I Met Your Mother, CSI: NY, and a voice role in the animated film PAW Patrol: The Movie.

She currently executive produces and co-stars on Hulu’s The Kardashians.
