A Philadelphia news helicopter crashed in a remote area late Tuesday, leaving a photographer and pilot dead.
The crash happened around 8 p.m. on Dec. 19, television station WPVI Action News 6 said.
The station confirmed the chopper went down in New Jersey, taking the lives of the two crew members as they flew over Burlington County, New Jersey.
The helicopter was returning from an assignment at the Jersey Shore and crashed in Wharton State Forest.

In a news conference Wednesday morning, New Jersey State Park Police Chief George Fedorczyk said his department received a call around that a helicopter had gone missing in the area.
Just after midnight, an officer located a debris field in a remote area with “limited visibility,” Fedorczyk said. The search was suspended until daybreak.
At this time, the station has not released the names of the two crew members, but said they “have a long history with our station and have been working as part of the Action News team for years.”
The FAA arrived early Wednesday and is investigating the cause of the crash.
