Jonathan Major walked into court Tuesday with new girlfriend Meagan Good by his side.
The Creed III star, 33, was accompanied by the actress, 41, during his first in-person appearance at Manhattan Criminal Court in New York City, where he faced charges for allegedly assaulting an ex-girlfriend.
Majors and Good were seen holding hands as they entered and exited court.
Judge Rachel S. Pauley scheduled a trial date of Aug. 3 for the actor.

The assault charges against Majors stem from a domestic dispute on March 25, involving a 30-year-old woman who was said to be his girlfriend.
An NYPD spokesperson stated at the time that the alleged victim suffered minor injuries to her head and neck and was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
The following day, Majors was arraigned in New York City on misdemeanor charges that included assault, attempted assault, harassment, and aggravated harassment. The actor has said he is innocent.
In April, the woman involved in the alleged incident obtained a temporary restraining order against Majors.
During his court appearance, Majors greeted the judge and acknowledged her instructions. The judge urged him to continue to adhere to the court’s full order of protection for the alleged victim.
Priya Chaudhry, Majors’ attorney, released a statement Tuesday morning denying any allegations of abuse on the basis of “evidence” proving Majors innocence.
“Last week, we delivered additional compelling evidence to the District Attorney, clearly proving [the woman’s] assault on Jonathan Majors and not the other way around,” her statement read.
Chaudhry went on to request the district attorney dismiss all charges against Majors and initiate legal proceedings against Jabbari, stating that they have requested an expedited trial date to accelerate their case.
Majors recently starred in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. In addition, he previously had roles in HBO’s Lovecraft Country, as well as the films The Harder They Fall and Devotion. The actor is also set to appear in upcoming Marvel films Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.
