The final season of Insecure airs on Oct. 24 and to celebrate, HBO is holding an Insecure Fest block party in Los Angeles.
Insecure Fest takes place Saturday, Oct. 23 — the day before the premiere — at 4 p.m. PST and goes until 9 p.m. The celebration and screening event will be hosted by Crissle West and Francheska Medina of the “InsecuriTEA” podcast, an after show that discusses the latest episodes of the series.

Insecure Fest is inspired by the show’s key themes of music and community.
“Since day one, HBO has served as the perfect home for our Insecure family,” Issa Rae, creator of Insecure, said in a statement. “From the first ‘Inglewood’ block party in Brooklyn to taking over a soccer stadium in LA to inspiring our plot lines, the Multicultural Marketing team has set the standard. I’m beyond excited to be in my community, enjoy the music, good vibes, and our wonderful supporters for one last time.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to watch a preview screening of the show’s season 5 premiere and enjoy a retrospective photo gallery that pays homage to the series. There will also be performances by surprise musical guests.
COVID protocols will be in place. The location for Insecure Fest hasn’t been revealed yet, but updates will be given via Instagram stories across the @InsecureHBO and @SceneinBlack accounts. For those who can’t attend, they can check out the celebration on Instagram .
The fifth and final season of Insecure stars Issa Rae along with series regulars Yvonne Orji, Jay Ellis, Natasha Rothwell, Amanda Seales, Kendrick Sampson and Courtney Taylor. The season premieres Sunday, Oct. 24 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available on HBO Max.
