Sinners is giving fans another reason to revisit Club Juke, this time at the California African American Museum in Los Angeles.

Sinners: Sounds That Summon opened Oct. 20 and runs through March 14, 2027. The exhibition explores the power of Black music throughout American history.

It’s centered around the guitar played by Sammie “Preacher Boy” Moore, played by Miles Caton in Ryan Coogler’s supernatural thriller.

The exhibition is inspired by the movie’s Club Juke sequence, according to the museum website. Costumes, props and and archival material from the film help tell the story.

Co-organized by the museum and Warner Bros. Archives, the exhibit was curated by Imani Y. Haynes.

For anyone wanting to visit the museum, it’s located in L.A.’s Exposition Park neighborhood adjacent to the University of Southern California.

Written, directed and produced by Coogler, Sinners starred Michael B. Jordan in dual roles as twin brothers Smoke and Stack. The brothers return to their Mississippi hometown for a fresh start, but are confronted by a supernatural evil.

Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller and Delroy Lindo rounded out the main cast.

Released in April 2025, the film earned $371.6 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.

The thriller went on to win four Oscars, including best actor for Jordan and best original screenplay for Coogler.

Caton and Grammy-winning musician Raphael Saadiq performed the nominated original song “I Lied To You” at the Oscars ceremony.
