The Young and the Restless has announced new details about its farewell storyline honoring late cast member Kristoff St. John.

The four-episode arc will run from Tuesday, April 23 through Friday, April 26, with a special tribute episode featuring former and current Y&R stars airing on Monday, April 29, CBS announced in a press release.

During the special episodes, residents of the long-running daytime drama’s Genoa City will gather to pay their respects to St. John’s character Neil Winters, after he suddenly passes away.

As Urban Hollywood 411 previously reported, Shemar Moore will reprise his role as Neil’s brother Malcolm Winters.

Moore, who currently stars on the CBS drama S.W.A.T., will appear on Y&R for the April 25 and 26 episodes. Christel Khalil (Lily Ashby) and Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) are also set to return for the storyline.

Additionally, actor Stan Shaw — Kristoff’s friend and co-star from Roots: The Next Generations — will appear as the reverend at Neil’s funeral on April 25.

Then on Monday April 29, Y&R will air a special tribute episode, featuring Moore, Davidson, Victoria Rowell (Drucilla Barber Winters) and Mishael Morgan (Hilary Curtis), as well as the current cast sharing memories about St. John.

The Talk will remember the actor with a special segment on Friday, April 26, with Moore, Rowell, Christel Khalil and Bryton James visiting the CBS daytime talk show for an intimate conversation on St. John’s life.

The beloved actor died of hypertrophic heart disease on Feb. 3, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office. His manner of death was ruled accidental. Alcohol was a contributing factor.
