FBI cast member Katherine Renee Kane is looking forward to the future.
Kane is leaving the hit CBS series in Season 7. Though, she is scheduled to appear in at least one episode on the upcoming season, as previously reported.
On Tuesday afternoon, Kane released a statement to Deadline, explaining why she’s saying goodbye to her role as Special Agent Tiffany Wallace.
“It was time to look towards new creative endeavors. I’m excited for the future and wish the show all the best,” Kane said.

The actress joined the hit police drama in 2020, after the exit of actress Ebonée Noel.
Kane previously starred in several independent films including, 2017’s Live a Little and 2016’s Extra Ordinary.
With Kane leaving, National Treasure: Edge of History star Lisette Olivera will now be joining the drama as a series regular.
The fast-paced show about the inner workings of the New York FBI office also stars Zeeko Zaki, Missy Peregrym, Jeremy Sisto, and Alana De La Garza.
The series was created by Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, who is best known for creating the Law & Order franchise.
FBI made its premiere on CBS in 2018. Since then, there have been two spin-off shows — FBI: Most Wanted in 2020 and FBI: International in 2021.
The seventh season of FBI premieres Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 8/7c on CBS.
