Donald Glover is returning to the Spider-Man universe.
The actor and musician is set to star in and produce a new movie based on Spider-Man comics villain Hypno-Hustler.
The untitled Sony Pictures film is being written by Myles Murphy, Eddie Murphy’s son, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the comics, the lesser-known Hypno-Hustler also goes by the name Antoine Desloin, and leads a band called the Mercy Killers. He uses his guitar to hypnotize the audience and rob them. His boots can also emit knockout gas on demand.
Glover made a cameo in the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming where he played criminal Aaron Davis alongside Tom Holland’s version of the web-slinging hero. He also voiced character Miles Morales in 2015’s Ultimate Spider-Man.
Earlier this week, Glover received a Golden Globe nomination for his work in FX series Atlanta.
The Emmy winner also sings and raps under the stage name Childish Gambino.
