Sharon Osbourne Hospitalized After Suffering Medical Emergency on Set

Sharon Osbourne was rushed to a hospital Friday night in Santa Paula, Calif., outside Los Angeles, after suffering a medical emergency during a television shoot.

Captain Brian McGrath of the Ventura County Fire Department confirmed to Urban Hollywood 411 that an EMS crew responded to the Glen Tavern Inn at 6:30 p.m., and a patient was taken to Santa Paula Hospital. McGrath described the call as “medical in nature.”

Additional information on Osbourne’s condition was not available.

TMZ, which was the first outlet to report on her hospitalization, said she was filming at the location. The hotel has previously been featured on the Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventurers.

The British-American TV personality previously served as a panelist CBS daytime series, The Talk. She exited the chat show in March 2021 after a contentious on-air debate about racism claims surrounding the royal family.

Osbourne later said she “felt betrayed” by the show’s staffers and alleged producers set her up in an effort to boost ratings.

Osbourne is an author, music manager and wife of musician Ozzy Osbourne. She previously served as a judge on America’s Got Talent.
