Sharon Osbourne was rushed to a hospital Friday night in Santa Paula, Calif., outside Los Angeles, after suffering a medical emergency during a television shoot.

Captain Brian McGrath of the Ventura County Fire Department confirmed to Urban Hollywood 411 that an EMS crew responded to the Glen Tavern Inn at 6:30 p.m., and a patient was taken to Santa Paula Hospital. McGrath described the call as “medical in nature.”

Additional information on Osbourne’s condition was not available.

TMZ, which was the first outlet to report on her hospitalization, said she was filming at the location. The hotel has previously been featured on the Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventurers.
