CNN is ready for a second round of comedy with Have I Got News For You.

Hosted by former Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood Jr., the show returns on Feb. 15.

Along with Wood, comedians Amber Ruffin and Michael Ian Black serve as team captains and guide a rotating collection of guests who are tested on their knowledge of current events.

Notable guests from season one include The View co-host Ana Navarro, former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, and Emmy Award-winning comedian Larry Wilmore.

The series — created by British comedian Jimmy Mulville — is based on a BBC show by the same name and premiered on CNN in September 2024.

The first season of the American version got good reviews from British news outlets, including The Telegraph, which called it “cheerfully competent” and “nowhere near the embarrassment it might have been.”

All episodes of season one are available to stream now on Max.

CNN recently announced that the second season will air as part of its Saturday primetime lineup.

“We’re thrilled that Have I Got News For You has made an impact with the CNN audience,” said executive producer Jimmy Mulville in a press release. “I think we’ll have plenty of news to poke fun at!”

Along with Mulville, Have I Got News For You is also executive-produced by Jim Biederman and Richard Wilson for Hat Trick Productions.

The second season of Have I Got News for You premieres Saturday, Feb. 15 at 9pm ET/PT on CNN. It will also be available to stream live for pay TV subscribers via CNN.com, CNN-connected TV, and mobile apps.
