Sean “Diddy” Combs is apparently disturbed by claims made in the trailer for a new Peacock documentary titled Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy.

The video, which was released on Thursday, Jan. 2, features interviews with several people who were once part of the embattled music mogul’s inner circle.

The day after Peacock unveiled the now-viral trailer, Diddy’s legal team sent a statement to Newsweek insisting the film and other projects exploring sexual abuse allegations against the mogul are “baseless.”

“These documentaries include unchecked claims and provide platforms for baseless conspiracy theories without accountability or evidence,” the statement read.

Diddy’s lawyers went on to question the motives of the people Peacock interviewed.

“In the case of the Peacock documentary in particular, the motivations and credibility of those being interviewed must be questioned. Many claim to have knowledge but lack any connection to the truth, while their wild, unfounded theories are cut and sensationalized to appear factual,” the statement continued.

The minute and a half trailer shows attorney Lisa Bloom, who represents former Danity Kane singer and Diddy accuser Dawn Richard, looking into the camera and saying: “Sean Combs in a monster.”

Sara Rivers, an R&B singer who competed on MTV’s Making the Band in the early 2000s, also appears in the video and describes what it was like working with the Bad Boy Records founder.

“Honestly, I didn’t want to be around him unless there was cameras,” she says.

An unidentified man — whose voice has been altered — makes a shocking claim about Diddy and underage girls.

“I’ve been with Sean for quite a while and I’ve captured a lot of moments. Any time a studio or any room is red, he’s making love and [having] sex. Some of the girls who were in the rooms, for sure they were underage,” the man says.

According to Peacock, the 90-minute documentary will chronicle Sean Combs’ “early years and his decades-long transformation to Puffy and then to Diddy, with crucial insight into the forces that shaped the man and may have made him a monster.”

Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy begins streaming Tuesday, Jan. 14 on Peacock.

The mogul is facing more than two dozen lawsuits alleging sexual abuse, including with minors. He has denied all of the allegations.

Diddy was arrested on Sept. 16 in New York City and charged by federal prosecutors with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

He is currently jailed in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, after being denied bail by three different federal judges.

His trial is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.
