Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper once again brought hilarity and shade to CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live event.

The two have been hosting the end-of-the-year event for eight years now.

In one segment, while the friends talked about who would get fired because of their on-screen antics, Cohen said he doesn’t have to worry since he has a job with Bravo. In the process, Cohen plugged the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

“I’m going back to Bravo,” joked Cohen, who is an executive producer of the reality series. “Bravo, here I come. New season of Real Housewives of Atlanta is coming up. Amazing stuff coming up.”

As previously reported, the sixteenth season of RHOA will include the return of attorney and self-proclaimed “southern belle” Phaedra Parks. Fan favorite  Porsha Williams is also returning after splitting from husband Simon Guobadia, and there will be four new peach holders.

After talking about RHOA, Cohen stirred the pot, by bringing up embattled New York City Mayor Eric Adams and his current legal situation.

“I mean the mayor is still running around,” Cohen said before his co-host tried to diffuse the situation.

Cooper said everyone was “battling something and to use kindness in 2025,” but Cohen was quick to say he knew what kind of battles Adams was dealing with – “a bunch of indictments.”

Adams was indicted by a federal grand jury in September and accused of allegedly letting Turkish officials and business people peddle influence with illegal campaign contributions and lavish overseas trips.

The NYC mayor faces five charges, including bribery, soliciting campaign contributions from foreign nationals, wire fraud, and conspiracy.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Along with teasing the embattled NYC mayor and the new season of RHOA, CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live event also included an appearance by actor Ralph Fiennes, and singer Mickey Guyton performed John Lennon’s classic “Imagine” live from Times Square.
