A new series titled Tough Love: Los Angeles will premiere this week on Cleo TV and simultaneously air on TV One.

The show is a spinoff based on the popular web series Tough Love, and follows a group of Black millennials as they experience the highs and lows of relationships, infidelity and more while living in the City of Angels.

Lauren Wilkins stars as lead character Mya, who is dealing with the aftermath of having her brother die at the hands of police and is adamant about seeking justice for her brother’s death. Her boyfriend Rashad, played by Jamy Pierrevil, is more interested in flirting with other women than helping her deal with her depression and anxiety.

Each session then starts to uncover truths they might rather keep hidden.
