Christina Milian and a cappella group Pentatonix are coming together for the Netflix holiday film, Meet Me Next Christmas.
The streaming service revealed details about the film on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
According to the official description, Milian’s character Layla must “race through New York City to get her hands on the hottest ticket in town: the sold-out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert. She hopes to reconnect with James (Queen Sugar star Kofi Siriboe) at the show.”
While Layla is looking for tickets and her “lost love,” she’s accompanied by an unexpected ally — professional concierge Teddy (Zatima star Devale Ellis).

“There’s a sense of magic, love, and anticipation that’s happening through the whole movie,” Milian told Netflix’s Tudum blog. “You just never know who they’re going to run into or what’s going to happen next.”
Ellis added, “You’ll see the sacrifices he makes for his mom. He’s willing to do anything for his cousin. But most importantly, he’s willing to do anything for Layla because he takes his job seriously.”
The cast also includes Tymika Tafari (Slip), comedian, and internet personality Kalen Allen, Nikki Duval (Strays), Wesley French (Vikings), and of course Pentatonix (Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee).
Rusty Cundieff helmed the holiday film while the writers are Camilla Rubis and Molly Haldeman.
Mark Roberts is the producer. In addition to starring as the lead, Milian is an executive producer with Simon Lythgoe and Matt Code.
Meet Me Next Christmas will premiere on Netflix Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024.
